Just a bit of crafting.

Today I thought I would just do a bit of crafting for fun :-)  I thought I might have a little go at some heat embossing (its probably been about 8 years since my heat gun has seen the light of day).  So I made a little card to enter a few challenges.  There's no Cricut!

I am entering this card at Papertake Weekly Challenge - Sketch #70.

sketch #70

Here is my take on the above sketch.

I inked up and heat embossed the snowman.  I used my Cuttllebug to emboss the one layer with my Snow Flakes folder.

Here is a side view, my card measures 6" by 4".

Added some ribbon and a little tag to finish him off.

Here is the inside of the card, stamped with some Recollection stamps.

I am also entering this card in to the following challenges

Paper Pretties Monday Challenge PPMC50 - Seeing Double use two or more designer papers (closes Aug 5)

Love to Create Challenge #26 - Add a Tag (closes Aug 5)

Crafty Hazelnut Christmas Challenge 83 - Tie a Ribbon (closes Aug 3)

2 Sisters Challenge Blog: Challenge #102 - Christmas in July Week 4 (closes Aug 3)

Bearly-Mine Challenges #46 - Anything Goes (closes Aug 6)

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy crafting.

    1. Thanks Lisa - I really am not very good with sketches, and thought perhaps this might have been a bit fussy. But I think I like the end result. TFL

    1. LOL Audrey - I know. I used to do card making when I lived in the UK, then cross stitch took over, then we emigrated and cross stitch was my first love:-) Then I got my Baby Bug in the New Year after procrastinating for over a year to buy one. So crafting and card making back in, cross stitch out (for now). Only blogging since middle of May and really enjoying it and its been like Christmas finding all my tools and stash of things that I had forgotten I had:-) Thanks for the lovely comment.
