We spent the best part of 4 hours moving stuff into different positions, until I was happy with the layout. I have to admit, he was very patient with me!
So here are some photos - to share my new space with you.
This was back in May this year.
And after the move around today, starting from the left and working my way around to the right.
This is where my home made light box now sits - its at eye level so makes it easier for me to take my photos of my cards. It sits on top of my paper stack boxes. (The chest of drawers is my kids portion - they have a lot of beads and craft paper in those drawers; although I might have to take that over at some stage!)
My daughter helped me label up all my boxes - so its easier for me to see what I have. I was starting to loose track of all my bits and pieces.
Here you can see my embellishment centre, pencil storage, the drawer holds my ribbon bits and pieces, my Cuttlebug and then moving along to my desk. Look at that lovely clear area underneath the picture - might get a notice board for there - or make one, will see. Also. there is room, above, to make a lovely banner for my craft room - don't you think?!
This is my work area. The little drawer sets on the top of the desk hold lots of bits and pieces and my daughter helped me label these too - I'll show a close up of these further down.
My Cricuts are easy to get too and to connect to my computer when needed. The drawer set to the right, holds a lot of my plain coloured papers. (This is our basement, hence the small windows. We have lots of really good pot lights and now I can use my lamp more efficiently in this spot. Also with it being the basement, it means I have a lot more space I could still take over LOL.)
Here's what is in the mini drawers.
I hope you have enjoyed the tour of my new to me craft room.
Happy crafting everyone.
