Some crafting time :-)

Hi all my crafty friends.  My girls have gone swimming with friends - so I had some me time in the craft room.

Thought I would make this quick and simple card for some challenges that are running this week.

This card base is 6" by 4".  My layers were cut at 5.75" by 3.75" and 5.5" by 3.5".  I inked the edges of the polka dot paper.

The daisy is cut using the Bloom cartridge (flower 9 shift, cut at 2"), inked with a vibrant pink.

The leaves are from the Flower Shoppe cartridge, cut at 2" and scored to make them more life like.

A little bit of ribbon and some pearl dots to finish it off.  The stamps are from an InkaDinkaDo set.

This card is being entered into the following challenges

DL ART Thankful Thursday Challenge - use a flower on your project or make one 3D flower (closes Sept 8)

Paper Playtime: Challenge 82 - Polka Dots and a Sentiment (closes Aug 31)

Made Especially for You:  Challenge - use three pearls (closes Aug 26)

Lady Anne's Paper Crafts: 2nd Colour challenge - use two or more of taupe/green/pink/lilac (closes Aug 31)

Bearly-Mine Challenges: #49 - Anything Goes (closes Aug 27)

Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy crafting.

  4. Hi Karon,
Very pretty card, and the flower looks so nice. I also like that you stamped the butterfly instead of using another cut. I'll have to remember to do that on one of my cards.
