A little bit of Halloween with Emily

Hi all.  Emily (my youngest, 11) came home from school the other day asking if I could bake muffins for school next Wednesday, for their Halloween party in class.  I suggested that we could make up some treat bags and top them with a Cricut cut.

So Saturday, we spent the morning in the craft room and this is what we ended up with - 32 bags of treats for her class.

She was quite specific that she didn't want multiple layers and nothing to fussy, that's my Emily.

All the images are from the A Childs Year cartridge.  The pumpkins were cut at 1.5" and the witches were cut at 2".  The topper itself is from the Art Philosophy cart (page 53, square 4) cut at 4.5".

Emily and I stamped half and half, I think she did an awesome job.

I stuck the pop dots on the back of the images, she placed them on the topper.

We both used bone folders to make the folds nice and crisp and then filled the bags with candy; the best part says Emily.  She is quite excited to hand these out because she helped do them.

So a great morning in the craft room, with daughter number 2 LOL, she is not the crafty one out of the two, but she admitted she really enjoyed doing these :-)

Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy crafting.
