Forever blowing bubbles!

Hi all, todays card is just because I can :-)

Found this adorable little image at Angelique`s blog, Sliekje`s Digi Stamps, where all her digis are generously free.  She is coloured with my Spectrum Noir markers, however as I am new to this I unfortunately didn;t keep a record of the colours I used.

I`m trying to get used to blending the colours and where to put darker shadows.

I used my Cuttelbug and the embossing folder Baby`s Breath for the blue layer.  The colourful layer is from a DCWV stack called Blossoms and Butterflies.

I thought I would try a different position with my bow this time, adventurous or what LOL!  The sentiment is from When the Scrap hits the Fun.

You know what I am loving about this colouring thingy, is that no matter what colours I use on my image, I can always find some paper/cardstock that will compliment it.  So that means that I can colour to my hearts content and think about the card after the colouring is complete.

And just for the inside of my card.

This card is being entered in the following challenges.

4 Crafty Chicks - Challenge 4CCC#112: Dry Embossing (closes 23 Oct)

Digi Haven - October Challenge: All month Anything Goes (closes 31 Oct)

Just Keep On Creating - Anything Goes #4 (closes 31 Oct)

Every Day is an Occasion - Sunday Funday #2 (closes 31 Oct)

Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy crafting.

  14. Hi Karon! I love this card and the free image! So cute!!! You're doing really well with your coloring. I struggle sometimes with where to put the shadows. So I usually just have the light always coming from the right which makes the left more shaded and then any areas "Under" something--hat, head, etc. But if I don't get it quite right I just don't worry about it. I want to color and have fun! I really like how you positioned the bow too! Oh! And thanks for joining in on our Digi Haven October Anything Goes Challenge!
