Back to Basics 3 fini!

I hope you are all doing OK and that my American friends are recovering from your Thanksgiving celebrations.  Now the countdown to Christmas is certainly on.

This is the finish of the current Oriental set.  I feel these cards really don't need too much embellishment and definitely less is more.

Again the papers are from the DCWV stack The Far East.  I scored around the frame again, 2 lines 1/8" apart.

I used the Pagoda cartridge for the bonsai tree (page 44) cut at 2", using the same papers for the tree as for the layers.

Here are the final two.

The hummingbird is on page 38, cut at 2.5", again using the same papers as the layers.

The sentiment stamps are from the CTMH stamp set that comes with the Art Philosophy cartridge.

I hope to get the gift box made for these later in the week.

Sorry this post is a little short and sweet, but have been feeling a little down the last few days, but I'm still crafting which is a good thing, right!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy crafting.

  14. Karon,

I love how you have stamped on the background papers, very elegant and not something I had thought to do before.

Thanks for stopping by my blog regarding my recent entry into the Polka challenge at number 56 with the wrong url.

Unfortunately the Polka blog does not allow me to remove my earlier post or to correct it, so I have re-entered it at number 58. Perhaps you, or someone who has the authority can remove the earlier entry at number 56.

    Thanks
