Love is in the Little things!

Hi all my crafty friends.  Its Sunday and I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.

I decided to have another play with my Spectrum Noir markers - I'm slowly getting the hang of them.  I have been wanting to colour one of these Saturated Canary images for ages but was a bit intimidated by the hair, however I finally decided to attempt one.  This image is called Rose Red but I did her in pink.

I am still learning as far as the hair and where to put shadows but I'm quite pleased with how this one turned out.

I went around the image with IG1, I feel this really helps at the moment, at least until I get more experienced.

The sentiment is from When the Scrap hits the Fun.  I have inked all the layers on the card.

A little bit of ribbon, my favourite embellishment , to finish off.

And of course now I am in the habit of doing the inside of my cards as well.

Thank you all for taking the time to visit me and leave such encouraging comments every day - I really do appreciate it.

Happy crafting.

  11. She's so pretty. You've, once again, done a lovely job on the coloring. I can see where she would be pretty in red too, though my daughter Katie likes her just the way she is.
