More easy cards - for Christmas.

Following on with some more lightweight Christmas cards.  I am pleased with how these ones turned out and  they were so quick and easy to put together.

All the card bases are from Kraft card stock and measure 4.25" by 5.5".  So two card bases from one piece of 8.5" by 11".

Essentially they are all the same card.  I used the Winter Woodland cartridge for the trees (page 37) cut at 3".  I cut them out three times on different papers and then mixed and matched them to make three cards.

Did you notice on that front one though that I have two the same?  I made a boob!  and put two tartan ones on the one behind.

To make the cards, all I did was stick down the layer of trees, stamp the sentiment and then I passed it through the Cuttlebug using the Swiss Dots folder.

I inked the edges of the layers of all the papers both inside and out.

For the insides I just used the same layers as the outside with the added little tree stamp to finish off.

Quick three and easy cards and they will be able to be used for my overseas friends too.

Entering this card in the following challenges.

  4. These are lovely. How clever to stamp and adhere your trees before running everything through the embossing folder. Now that's a great idea and I think I will be using it. Love the papers you used too.
