Alls Well - ish :-)

Hi everyone.  Just thought I had better put a post on my blog :-)

All is well here, I am sorry for lack of postings, have been suffering from some really bad migraines since Thursday.  Am hoping that I soon will be able to wake in the morning without my head feeling as if it is in a vice.

I thought I would share a little bit of life with you.

My youngest daughter Emily (12) had Taekwondo testing today. She was a blue belt and today she achieved her red stripe.  Next belt is red.

Here is a picture of her proudly showing her stripes and her certificate.

Also, to let you know that Spring definitely did spring!  However, we seem to have skipped Spring altogether and gone straight for Summer.  Temperatures have been up in the mid 20c (77f) most of this week and is forecast for the same next week.

My blossom tree in the garden is looking fabulous.

Hope you are all doing well out there in blog land - I have been visiting and if I haven't left a hello, my apologies, hope to get round to you all and back to posting this week.

If any of you have any good remedies (other than chopping my head off) for headaches - any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy crafting everyone.

  14. Sorry you've been having migraines. Hope you are much better by now. Congrats to your daughter--wonderful achievement and love her photo! Finally spring for you but I had to laugh when you said those temps were your summer. That temp is our Spring--summer would be about 25-30 degrees higher for us!

  15. Hope you feel better real soon. I've dealt with migraines on and off since I was 13 so I have an idea of what you are dealing with. I can only hope that they will dissipate soon. Also, congrats to your daughter on her success.

On another note it is so nice to meet a fellow Canadian in Blogland, and one from Ontario to boot!

    Take care,
    Lisa

  17. Sorry for your pain! I used to get some pretty bad migraines and I know how awful they are. Occasionally Excedrine Migraine would help take some of the edge off, but it never made it go away completely. Try and get some rest and feel better soon.

    Best crafty wishes!

  18. Look at her go!! That's such an incredible accomplishment for your daughter and she just looks gorgeous in this photo. What a proud Mom you must be :D I'd say have her give you one good Taekwondo chop and knock you out for a bit...LOL. The pollen and blooming have been wreaking havoc on everyone lately. I hope you're feeling better today.
Hugs to you and thank you for sharing the great photos :)
