We had a fabulous family weekend, with Andy being home. Took him to the airport yesterday afternoon, back home again at the end of June :-)
We spent the whole day, Saturday, at the 2013 Ambassador Cup Tae E. Lee Taekwondo Championship, watching the opening ceremony and then waiting for the girls to be called to take part in their catergory.
A picture of the display team - they put on one amazing display!
They both did well and we are very proud of both of them. Shannon was 1/2 point off getting the Bronze medal and Emily just 2 points off getting her Bronze. They did, however, both come away with their participants medals and they were really pleased :-)
Here is a close-up of front and back of the medals.
We went out for supper to celebrate.
Sunday, Andy cut the lawn for me - looking nice and tidy again now. I cooked a lovely Spaghetti Bolognese for supper, with lots of yummy garlic bread :-)
Yesterday, we had to go to the bank and stuff like that. Whilst we were at the bank, Shannon rang to say the High School had been closed because of a leak of some sorts, that was causing people to be sick, fainting and generally feeling sick. So she had the day off school.
All in all, a great weekend.
Hope you all had a great weekend and for my American friends, a fabulous Memorial Day weekend.
Thanks for stopping by today.
Back to crafting now :-)
