In case you missed Day 1, here is the entire list of stops.

Kristin @ Paper Creations by Kristin
Barbara @ Craft Me This

Hi everyone - I hope you are enjoying Day 2 of this fabulous hop.  Every ones creations are wonderful.  This is a little bit of mine for you :-)

The file I decided to use from My Scrap Chick was this Teacup Easel Card.  It even has a little pocket for either a gift card, a tea bag or like I have done, a little tag.

Now I have a little confession to make, I had to cut mine out by hand as my Silhouette Cameo needs a new power cable.  But it goes to show that with these fabulous files from Val - anything is possible :-)

My papers are from a lovely little 6" by 6" First Edition Paper pad, called Bird Song.  The papers are so pretty and some of them have gloss and glitter effects on them, just like this one.  Hope you can see the shine in this next photo.

I stamped the inner circle with the a little stamp, that I found amongst a set of freebie stamps from a magazine.  It was so perfect to go with this card and just had to use it.  My little flowers are made from 3 little Recollections petals - you know the ones you get in a bottle, and then I added some leaves that I found already cut out amongst my stash.

For the tag, I used my Cuttlebug and a Spellbinders Labels 8 die. The little Happy Birthday is from the same set as the teapot stamp.  I inked all the edges of all the layers, including the tag.

I hope you are enjoying the hop.

Before you go, I have a little blog candy for one lovely follower of my blog.  Just leave a comment below.

1 Studio G Paper pack
1 Recollections trim pack
1 Recollections Floral Embellishment pack
1 Recollection pack of 5 buttons

and off Shannon (my daughter)

I will post the winner of the candy on Tuesday of next week.

  13. The cup & saucer is one of my favs. Love the shape. Fabulous. Tragic your Cameo needs a new cable so was out of action. Having to cut your project by hand is indeed dedication.

  20. Karon, this is positively delightful!!! Gosh, the cut itself is amazing... and it's incredible that you cut it by hand! (Crafters never gift up!) I love that it serves as a pocket, too! The ribbon on the tag looks just like steam from a warm cup of tea. :o) The papers are so beautiful. That collection has been on my wish list.. First Edition papers are sublime. The flowers are gorgeous and the sentiment is lovely. Extraordinary project, my friend! :o)
