Bit of Life :-)

Hi everyone.  Just so you know that I am not just sitting around doing nothing :-)

I thought I would share what I have been up to this morning.

I promised my daughters that this fall I would get their bedrooms decorated.  I figured if I gave myself 3 hours each day to do a job then I would soon get it done.

Also means I can still get in the craft room afterwards to relax :-)

Today, was demolition day in Shannon's room.

Here is her bedroom at 7.00am this morning.

And here is Shannon's bedroom (after doing the school runs) by 10.30am.

So I have taken all the shelving and all the dado rails down.  It already looks much bigger with those shelves gone!

And I only injured myself once!  Sliced my finger with a sharp object :-)

Now I have to start the repair jobs; filling holes and repairing the walls and sanding before I can paint.

I am going to do the white work before the walls :-)

So there you have it, just sharing stage 1.

Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy crafting.

  2. No more sliced fingers! You need those to keep us entertained with your lovely creations. Shannon must be so excited. I wish you well, my friend. Keep at it and don't get discouraged by the amount of time it takes. It will be worth it.
