Decorating finished :-)

Hi all of my bloggie friends.  Firstly, I would like to thank all of you with sticking with me, through a very quiet crafting phase on my blog.  Unfortunately, it will take a few more weeks to get back to normal production.

I have a DT project due for Friday (but has to be done by Tuesday), so today will be spent catching up on that.

Also, I am going to Winnipeg next Wednesday (16 Oct) to be with Andy for a few days, as he has to have surgery to remove a rather large kidney stone.  A great friend is going to look after my girls for me, whilst I am away.

I will try and get a few bits and pieces done to schedule posts, but not sure how much.  I have tried to keep up with visiting you all, but if I have missed the odd post please forgive me.

I am happy to report that all my decorating is finished and my two girls are very happy to have to made-over rooms :-)

I will show you a quick before photo again of Emily's room.

And now for the reveal !  Looking in from the door.

And from the closet corner.  She really does seem to have so much more room, as we did de-clutter a lot of dust gathering cuddly toys etc.  However, as you can see in her cubes, there are still a lot left :-)

Do you like the ducks a la Andy Warhol style :-)  And the lovely treats canvas too - all Emily's choices including the paint :-)  Her bookshelf, is actually opposite the window now and so less intrusive.

She absolutely loves it.

We did get Shannon some Inspirational canvas prints (I know your saying, could have made those!, but I had ran out of steam big time and when she saw them, well!) for her wall and we are still keeping a look out for the perfect picture for above her bed.  Here is the word wall :-)

So my friends - I will be back to crafting in earnest as soon as things return totally to normal.  Some good news is, that Andy is actually home for this weekend (our Thanksgiving), so at least the girls get to see him before his hospital visit.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy crafting.

Not the best reason for a visit, eh? We'll hang in there with you. You have to know we're looking forward to the return to crafting too!
