Oh come on - really!

Hi everyone.  Happy Sunday.

Now I know I live in Canada, but I really would like to see the end of winter now - please!

We had more snow yesterday - March in like a lion out like a lamb - well hopefully anyways.  This is outside my bedroom window :-)

I have the next three in the series, only six more to go.

I decided to get out my Prisma colouring pencils for these flowers, as I wanted to add some colour. The flower stamps are from a See D's collection - I bought a big box of them on sale last year.

Still using a little extra paper to cover up the white card base - papers are at least still from the Recollections Cherry Blossoms stack!

I inked all the edges as before and really like how stamping the flowers in the same ink turned out.  Also pleased with my colouring on these :-)

You do realise - I will have to get round to making envelopes for these cards now.  Although, I might have some in my stash that I can use.

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.  I hope to NOT be shovelling snow today!

These cards are being entered in the following challenges.

Allsorts Challenge Blog: Challenge 248 - Spring is coming (closes 7 Mar)

  7. Beautiful job with the pencils. Enough already with the snow. Here in central Illinois we have a record breaking winter of snow & low temperatures. I'm too old for this stuff.

No snow here. There was a slight possibility of it this weekend but we just have BIG GIANT RAINDROPS instead.

  10. I live on the east coast of Canada. Here we say that we have 4 seasons: Winter, Still Winter, Not Winter and Almost Winter. :D

You did a lovely job of coloring those flowers, Karon. Yours are not the quick 16 cards that the technique promises, but yours are beautiful.

    Shivering here too,
    Teresa

Hi Karon:) that is such a beautiful photo of the snow:) It's been raining all weekend here in California but I like it but I think it's because I can drink more tea or coffee and cozy up watching movies:LOL! ) Your cards are just beautiful and I love how you made each one different in their own way. Enjoy the rest of you Sunday my friend.
