Simply Saturday #2 - Using Leftovers.

Helllooo!!  Happy Saturday and hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

As promised, I have a card to share with you today, from the leftovers of yesterdays card.

After cutting out the image for yesterdays pyramid, I was left with all the little frames.  So I figured I could do an inverted pyramid card with the remaining pieces.

Used up the rest of the papers too and added some different sentiments.

For the inside using the same layers, and added a little set of golf balls to the message panel.

I didn't add any foam to the layers of the inverted pyramid - thought this would make it easier to post.

Isn't it great when you can use up those leftovers - nothing for the scrap pile from these latest cards :-)

And there you have it.  That's it for today.

If your confused about the leftovers because both cards look the same.  Yesterdays card was a Z fold and the image is a pyramid layer.  Today's card is using the leftover frames from the pyramid, to make an inverted pyramid today Lol.  Are you confused yet.  :-D

Hope you have a great weekend.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy crafting.

  1. Brilliant Karon but here's the thing, which WAS the leftovers card!?? xx

    1. Hee hee. I suppose it depends how you look at it. Yesterdays pyramid could have been the leftovers. Or today's inverted pyramid could be the leftovers. Confused yet lol :-D

  2. Love the fab image,a gorgeous

  3. I like the way your mind works Karon, lots of us would have thrown those pieces away.

  7. The card is just as cute. Proof that we don't always have to add foam squares to make something look cool. I got your explanation right away. Guess we're both frugal enough to think alike.

  8. Completely different look. Love what you do with leftovers. Just looks like a fabulous card to me. Love them both.

  9. You are one clever cookie, Karon. This looks as good as the first one.
