Fabulous Friday - Four Seasons

Hello everyone!  Wow - Friday again and here in Canada - schools out for Summer :-)

It's time for week 2 of our Polkadoodles Frame It challenge - so lots of inspiration from my teamies and I.  So why not go check out what they have for you.  But... check out my inspiration first LOL!

I showed you this little sneak peek back on Sunday, and I really love how it came together.

I used 4 of the fabulous fairies from the wonderful Serenity collection. I will link to the individual digis with each season picture :-)

I decided to make a 4 Seasons canvas and Shannon has already claimed it for her room LOL!

For Spring, I used Serenity Fairy Kisses.  The scrabble pieces are from the wonderful Work & Play 9 - Love & Kisses collection.

For Summer, I have used Serenity Dancing.  The flowers are cut files from Polkadoodles - using my Silhouette Cameo.

For Autumn - I have used Serenity Earthstar.  The autumn leaves are also cut files from Polkadoodles.  I used the Ivy cut file and cut off the leaves.

For Winter - I have used Serenity Joyful.  The snow flakes are from the wonderful Work & Play 5 - Festive Hollybobs collection, which I traced and cut using my Silhouette Cameo.

They have all been coloured with Prisma colouring pencils and Gamsol, and adding a little sparkle with some Wink of Stella. The frame paper is from the Dollie Daydream Goes East collection.

Really enjoyed colouring up these fabulous digis.

So, what will you come up with - have your framed anything lately :-)  Time to go over and enter our challenge.  You have until Noon, GMT, Friday, 3 July to enter.

Grab a coffee :-)

All dressed up.

The hair doo :-)

Sisters, Sisters, never had such devoted Sisters :-)

She made Honour Roll.

Admiring her award :-)

Now on to the teachers gifts :-)

For her Physical Education teacher Mr T :-)

I used papers from the Polkadoodles Work & Play 1 collection, the embellishments are from the Work & Play 11 collection.

For her Home Room Teacher Mr H :-)

I used papers and embellishments from the Polkadoodles Work & Play 3 collection.

And finally for her French teacher :-)

I used the wonderful  Fredericka collection.  I cut the Eiffel Towers out of papers off this collection.

Sentiment teacher tickets are from Work & Play 3.  The 2 Teach panels are frames of the Twiggy & Toots collection that I then added some wording.  Even managed the French version too :-)

I hope they all like their unique gifts.

Music Time.

Hello everyone.

I wanted to stop in again today to show you one of the teachers gifts completed.

I had to get this one done so that Emily could give it to her band teacher this afternoon.  We are off to the school Spirit Assembly shortly.

I picked up these little sketch books from Walmart and thought they would make perfect little gifts for the teachers.  They are only 16cm tall, but perfect for some book folding :-)

I used a music note book folding pattern from Crafty Hana - etsy shop .  I am so addicted to this and was so glad that I found it :-)

I used the fabulous Work and Play 8 - Feel the Music - to decorate the book.  Using the wonderful cut files (using my Silhouette Cameo) and papers off this collection.

The ticket sentiments and sentiment panel are also off this wonderful bundle.

I just love these cut files.

Time to put it in a gift bag and head on up to the school.

I hope you are having a wonderful day.

Waving Hello from the Twilight Zone!

Hi everyone.  Happy Hump Day :-)

Just popping in today to say hello.  I know I seemed to have dropped of the face of the earth and haven't posted in nearly two weeks.

I have been trying to keep up with what you have been up to.

My Dad's visit went well and although it has been 10 years since we last saw each other - it felt like yesterday.

A few more grey hairs for both of us too :-)

I have not been in the crafting zone much - although I am in the middle of getting some teacher's gifts made, as Emily graduates Elementary School next week. Can't believe she is graduating and moving onto High School in the Fall.

Shannon finished Grade 11 yesterday and has one more exam to do at the end of the week, and that's it for her until Grade 12 in the Fall.

I know you are all busy with your end of school year, or summer start and I hope you are all well.

Thanks for constantly keeping up to date with me and for your continued support of my blog.

I did do some colouring the other day in preparation for a project I am working on for my DT.

These are from the fabulous new release Serenity, and I really enjoyed colouring them with my pencils and Gamsol.  Can't remember the last time I actually coloured something!

Anyways, that's it from me today.

Hope you are all having a great week.  I am off to lunch today with my coffee group - think it maybe our last get together, not only cause the school year is ending, but people are returning to work or moving on as their kiddies are older or leaving home now :-(

Thanks for stopping by today.

Happy crafting.

Fabulous Friday - Father's Day or one of those cards! :-)

Hi everyone.  Wow can you believe that we are already into June - where is the year going.

I hope you have all had a fabulous week.  Thank you for all you wonderful comments on my fairy house :-)  I really did love making it and how it finally came together.

So today is the start of a new challenge over at Polkadoodles.  Our theme this week is Father's Day/Anything Male - so one of those cards LOL!

I decided to use this fabulous pre-coloured digi - yep another one!  Can't remember the last time I actually coloured one in.  Will have to have a play soon.

So back to the digi, well yes :-)  I used the wonderful Winston collection and good old Winston.  He is having a lovely relaxing day in the comfy chair, reading his newspaper.

He is also available as single digital download Winston Bear Snoozy Days.  I layered him up - of course!

Isn't he adorable.  I inked all the edges of all the layers with CTMH Chocolate.  I really love this image.

For the inside I used the same papers and then a little heart.  Everything is from this wonderful collection.

I just love the selection of papers on this CD/Download there is such a huge selection.  Here is a close up to show off those layers.

I added some sentiments and three little button topped brads to finish off the card.

So now it's you turn to get creating - and then pop along and enter this latest challenge.

I am entering this card in the following challenges.

'Tis Tuesday - I do believe in Fairies :-)

I do, I do, I do believe in fairies!

Do you?

Hi everyone.  Hope you are all well and having a great week so far.

I won't be around much this week, other than a scheduled post for Friday.  I have a visitor coming from the UK :-)  My Dad, is coming to stay with us for a few days.  We haven't seen him for 10 years!  Since leaving the UK.  So we are really looking forward to the visit.

I do have something to share with you that I have been working on.  And I have to say I am so pleased with how this turned out.

I am showcasing 4 of the new fairies off the fabulous new release....

I have used pre-coloured images of four of the fairies.  Serenity Blossom, Serenity Butterfly, Serenity Fairy Cake and Serenity Stardust.  They are also available as individual downloads HERE.

So here is what I have been up to.  A folded book fairy house, all decorated up :-)

I cut the windows using a 1.5" punch and then just folded and inked them.  The little door is out of some wood effect paper and a little pearl handle.

The flowers and vines are Polkadoodles cut files and are available HERE.  I used my Silhouetted Cameo and then once cut, shaped the flowers and added pearl dots.

The fences, are from the Twiggy & Toots collection.  I cut out several, then glued them together to give added strength and placed around the fairy house.

The butterflies are also from the Twiggy and Toots collection.  I doubled them up to give them some depth.

So there you have it.  A little bit of magic to share with you all :-)

I hope you all have a fabulous rest of the week.

I am entering this in the following challenges.
