Finally - decorated :-)

Hello everyone!

How are you all doing?  I would firstly like to apologise for not doing much visiting lately, things seemed to get really hectic with the end of school stuff and I just don't know where this first week of the summer hols have gone.

I have been busy however, making some samples for Polkadoodles. Unfortunately, I can't show even a sneak peek as there are a couple of new releases coming up in a couple of weeks.

I can tell you though, that they are amazing.  Nikky's artistry is amazing and I am sure you will love them as much as I do.

Anyways, one thing I managed to finish today after tidying up the craft room - it really did look as if a bomb had hit it! - was decorating Emily's book fold.

I didn't want to over embellish this one.  Emily is the pianist in this house and really likes anything to do with music.  So of course I had to use these wonderful musical notes and then Alphabet 4 from Crafty Hana's Esty shop.

I did however find the perfect papers on the fabulous Polkadoodles Work & Play 8 - Feel the Music collection.

This is the back of the book. :-)  Simply decorated with a music themed cream paper.

I used the same papers for the inside but in a darker shade to make the fold pop.

The butterflies are two from the Cheery Lynn Designs Small Exotic Butterflies set 2.

I managed to find this delightful little charm and decided to hang it from the ribbon.

She was so pleased with this, and it's already on display in her bedroom :-)

I promise to come visit you all shortly.  Hope you all have a fabulous week.

Thanks for stopping by.

Happy crafting.
