Fabulous Friday - Down the rabbit hole :-)

Happy Friday everyone!

The girls, technically, finish school today!  They have exams next week Monday through Thursday and that's it for the summer.

Shannon will be off to college the beginning of September and Emily will be going into Grade 10.  I can't believe my first born will be leaving the home :-(  But it is her dream to be Veterinary Technician and now is the time to fly :-)

Anyways, let's get back to today's post.

Our new challenge is starting over at Polkadoodles and our theme for this fortnight is Use a Die Cut (you can use a manual or electronic machine for this).

I have used the fabulous Winnie in Wonderland and couldn't resist using this fabulous paper.

I used my Silhouette Cameo and Design Studio to position the circles on the layers.  And to cut out several of the white rabbit (pre-coloured image) so that I could decoupage him :-)

For the inside I have used the fabulous paper from the front and then added a circle, filled with another paper, for the message panel.

I added a sentiment to one of the journal cards,  by using the Text feature in Design Studio.  The other sentiment in the pocket watch is from the collection.

I have also inked all the edges of all the layers.  I love how the layers look on this card, and the fabulous colours - so rich!

I hope you all have a wonderful Father's Day weekend.

I am entering this card in the following challenges.

Craft Your Passion Challenges - Challenge #316: Always Anything Goes (closes 19 June)

Crafting from the Heart - Challenge #116: Anything Goes (closes 19 June)

Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenges - Challenge #282: Anything Goes (closes 21 June)

Simply Saturday - Oops! More For the Boys

Hello out there :-)

Wow - I so totally forgot that I made two cards for the Polkadoodles challenge For the Boys. Was meant to share this with you yesterday.

Ah well, here it is instead :-)

I have used the fabulous new Winnie in Wonderland for my creation today.  I love all the papers and elements in this collection.

This cogs and wheels digi is for you to colour, but I put it into Silhouette Design Studio, traced and filled each cog with the papers from the collection and then cut them out :-)

For the inside I added the cogs but a little smaller to my message panel - aren't these papers wonderful!

I inked all the edges of all the layers and added some foam tape to add dimension.

I even did some layers on the white rabbit!

I hope you have been enjoying the Winnie in Wonderland Collection - it really has got my mojo going :-)

One last thing, did you know that Polkadoodles is having an International Design Team Call - if your interested why not go check out all the details HERE and apply - you just never know :-)

I am entering this card in the following challenges.

Fabulous Friday - For the Boys

Happy Friday everyone.

Hope that your week has been a good one.

I spent some time in the garden yesterday - doing the weeding and I almost forgot that I had to get this post ready for today LOL!

Our theme for our Polkadoodles challenge, well with Father's Day not far off we figured it would For the Boys.

I decided to use an older collection - but still a fabulous one, Cherryblossom Lane Collection.

I took one of the scenes off an envelope in the collection, added a tree and some fencing (from the collection) and of course couldn't resist adding Horace.

The actual scene is a river scene, but I just took a pale grey pencil and coloured over the blue, to make it look like a path :-)

For the inside I used the same papers as the front and added a message panel.

I cut the fences and Horace with my Silhouette Cameo and added some foam tape to give the card some dimension.

The little side buttons are from the ephemera section in the Frosted Winter collection.

So that's it from me today.  Hope you have a wonderful weekend.

I am entering this card in the following challenges.

Ooh La La Creations - Challenge #206: One for the Boys (closes 19 June)

Dragons Lair Designs - June Challenge: One for the Guys (closes 29 June)

Made it Monday - Finished it.

Happy Monday - yep another Monday and the start of another week.  Time really is flying.

The girls have two more weeks before exams and then before you know it they will be off for the summer holidays!

Shannon's graduation ceremony is on the 30 June, so we are all looking forward to that.

Anyways, on to tooday's post.

I have been so enjoying using the newest release by Polkadoodles. If you love Alice in Wonderland then you will love this one - Winnie in Wonderland :-)

I couldn't resist making up a bottle, and look - oops someone has already drunk it LOL!  This key, from the collection, was cut on my Cameo - it is 1.75".  I cut several layers, glued together and then inked.  I added some red alcohol ink to the inside of the bottle to make it look like there had been fluid inside :-)

All the elements for my card are in this wonderful collection.

I have added some layers to the images and inked all the edges.

For the inside, the same layers will one of the journal tags as a message panel.

I love the little mouse and these toadstools. I also couldn't resist adding one of the rose bushes :-)

I added two sentiments, one for the watch fob and one on the card tag.

I love adding dimension - sort of brings them to life.

The team have been busy sharing their creations over on the Polkadoodles Facebook page if you want to go take a look :-)

I am entering this card in the following challenges.

Craft Your Passion Challenges - Challenge #315: Always Anything Goes (closes 12 June)

Simply Saturday - Pink Flamingoes

Happy Saturday everyone. Wow two days in a row !!  LOL!

Hope your weekend is going well.  I am spending it in the craft room.

So far, I have managed to get some DT stuff done and also make another card from our Polkadoodles newest release - Winnie in Wonderland.

These are just some of the Design sheets in this fabulous collection.  You can buy all different bundles, individual digis and of course the whole collection!

I have used another of these Design sheets for my card today.

I distressed and inked all the edges of all the layers.

For the inside the same papers and a journal tag for a message panel.

I couldn't resist adding some layers to some of the elements.

The White Rabbit charm is from Emerald Creek.

I am loving all the elements in this collection.

P.S.  I have decided to get fit!  LOL!  And even brave enough to start a blog about it!  If you like to come along and follow me and encourage me.  Here's the link :-)

Thanks for stopping by today.

Fabulous Friday - Winnie in Wonderland

Happy Friday everyone.  Boy, am I glad the weekend is here.

I hope you have all had a fabulous week.

I have a great new release to share with today. Nikky has been busy behind the scenes once again!

Here is Polkadoodles Winnie in Wonderland!!!

I spent the morning designing my very own hat in Silhouette Design Studio - and then decorated it.  It took a few tests to get it right, but happy with how it turned out :-)

Then of course I had to make a quick card.  Using one of the fabulous Design Sheets and other elements.

The papers are so lush in this collection - you will love them.

For the inside I added one of the journal tags of the collection.

I love all the details and I can't wait to show you more - as soon as I get chance to play!

Why not pop along to the Polkadoodles Facebook group too as everyone is sharing makes!

Thanks so much for stopping by today.

Happy crafting.
