Fabulous Friday - version 2 - Halloween :-)

WOW !  Christmas and Halloween in one day LOL!

Took a challenge today - the boss lady Nikky at Polkadoodles, only just gave us this Halloween digi and I wanted to see how quick I could make a card :-)

So I saw it in our group about an hour ago!  So here you go :-)

Get it HERE!  Winnie Trick or Treat - includes the Black and White digi and the pre-coloured digi!

I used papers from the wonderful Witchie Witchie Bundle.

For the inside using the same papers as the front and a lovely message panel.

I layered up the pre-coloured image and added some bats.  I also couldn't resist cutting the Elegant Lamplight and Gate die in black cardstock, and bending it a little to look damaged :-)

Love adding some dimension to this cute image - love that cat on her head LOL!

Happy Halloween!

I layered up with an extra deer and birdhouse, and added a little foam tape to the topper layer.

Couldn't resist using the wonderful Super Sprigs Die, to add some leaves to the white poinsettia.

Simply Saturday - Christmas it is!

Well, OK, I know it's not Christmas but there is snow in the forecast!  Yep it's on it's way!

I have had this little shaped card cut and ready to piece together for ages, but have not felt like crafting.

So, today as it is a miserable day outside, I am spending it in the craft room :-)

What are you up to today?

I have used this pre-coloured image from the wonderful Polkadoodles Festive Christmas collection. Couldn't resist making up a shaped card and adding a little glitter to the tree layers.

I used the shape of the pre-coloured image and created the card shape using Silhouette Design Studio software.

Couldn't resist adding some lovely papers and the wonderful sentiment to the inside of the card.

I added some layers with foam dots and inked all the edges of all the layers.

For the tree, I added another two layers and cut into the branches a little for some added texture and depth.

I am entering this card in the following challenges.

Fabulous Friday - More Christmas! Hee Hee Hee! or should that be...

Ho Ho Ho :-)

Happy Friday everyone.  It's the weekend - YAY!

Had some crafty time this morning and dug out the embossing powders again.

Using the wonderful new Polkadoodles dies, Super Sprigs and the Flowers & Leaves 2 dies. Also the fabulous collection Festive Christmas.

I have used one of the pre-coloured toppers and papers from the collection.

I heat embossed the die cuts (they were cut from the papers in the collection first) with Holographic Embossing powder.

For the inside a merged the layers, so that it's flat and added a sentiment.

I love finishing the inside of my cards - do you?

Trying to take a photo of the embossing. love this Midnight teal colour :-)

More Christmas coming soon - yep more LOL!

Fabulous Friday - Autumnal Colours

Happy Friday everyone.

I am not here LOL!  I am currently on my way on a road trip to see Shannon at college.  It is our Canadian Thanksgiving this weekend - so as it wasn't feasible for me to fetch and return Shannon - too much travelling!  I decided to take little old me to see her :-)

Was busy yesterday making some batch cooking, of Bolognese Sauce, and a Chicken Pot Pie that we will portion up and put in her freezer :-)  Hubby and Emily will have to fend for themselves this weekend, although they have been invited to have Thanksgiving dinner with friends :-)

So, Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian friends.

Anways, onto to today's card.  All our challenges at Polkadoodles are now Anything Goes - so that means whatever you create - you can enter!

I have used one of my favourite collections, Dollie Daydream Goes East Collection.

You should know me by now, I very rarely colour anything in.  However, the girl image was faux paper-pieced using the Silhouette Design Studio and then all I had to colour was her skin and hair :-)

For the inside I once again used the same papers as the front.  I have started merging the layers for the insides of my cards.  Not only does it save paper, it saves time and a little bit lighter for postage :-)

I couldn't resist adding some extra lanterns and a fan, using foam tape on several layers to add some interest.

I love the rich colours of the papers in this collection.

Now it's over to you.  Don't forget our challenges are now Anything Goes - so why not enter - you made something!  Then share it :-)

I am entering this card in the following challenges.

'Tis Tuedsday - Snowflakes!

Hello there.  I am glad to say that this post is not about real snowflakes :-)

We are holding on to some decent temperatures at the moment and have yet to see frost.  The temperatures are still managing to reach around the 18c (64f) mark - so not bad for this time of year.

Anyways, on to today's sort of quick card :-)

Using the fabulous Polkadoodles Festive Christmas Collection.

All I have used for this card is one of the backing papers,   I layered on one of the fabulous snowflakes and berries, using Silhouette Design Studio.

For the inside, I used the same as the front and then added one of the tag/frames, as a message panel.

The centre snowflake was cut on my Cameo and then I stamped it with Versamark and heat embossed it with Stardust embossing powder.

I just added some foam tape to the centre snowflake and turned it slightly, to make it pop.

A quickish sort of card, don't you think :-)

Made it Monday - Yep - you guessed it - Christmas :-)

Hello and Happy Monday everyone!  Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.

Today, yep, today I show you another Christmas creation.  We are having fun and games over in the Polkadoodles Facebook Group right through till the end of October.  Today's game is to make a card following this sketch posted by teamie Alysha.

Here's my card using the sketch and the wonderful Festive Christmas Collection.

I have also used the wonderful new Craft Dies from Polkadoodles.  I have used the Super Sprigs and the Flowers 2 dies to add those flowers to my card.  Printed off some papers from the collection and cut them out with my Big Shot.

Super Sprigs - Craft Cutting die

Flowers 2 - Craft cutting die

I couldn't resist adding some glitter to the flower centres and the leaves.

For the inside, I merged all my layers using the Silhouette Design Studio, and just printed out the one piece.  I designed the scalloped edge circle in Design Studio, using this great tutorial from Silhouette School.

The sentiment and little hearts are also in this wonderful collection.  That background paper with the trees, has to be my all time favourite - can't stop using it :-)

Wish you could see the sparkle a little more.  I placed the red layer up on some foam tape, to add a little more dimension.

I am entering this card in the following challenges.
