So without further ado here we go.
I used the Pagoda cartridge and the Art Philosphy Cartridge for this card.
The base is a side-easel card. Thanks to Lorraine at Card Creations by Lorraine for a fabulous tutorial, click here for the tutorial. I did make the card to be 7" by 5" though.
Layer 1 has been embossed with my Cuttlebug and a Sizzix folder called Twizzle. I first inked it in blue then went over it in white.
The bamboo was cut in three different sizes, 5", 4.5" and 3.5" and layered with pop dots.
The pandas were cut at two different sizes 4" and 2.5".
The fans were cut at 1".
I used the Art Philosphy cart to cut the base for the sentiment.
The sentiment was printed using Windows, as I don't own a Father's Day stamp. I managed to find an oriental font.
I really like how this turned out, its for my daughters to give to Daddy on Fathers day.
This card has been entered in the following challenges
Creative Cutter Room - Fathers Day or man card (closes 27 June).
DL. ART - Thankful Thursday Challenge - a card for a man (closes 23 June).
Hope you like this and thanks for stopping by.
