Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends - may you enjoy all the celebrations this weekend.
Finally getting back to basics. Although maybe not that basic but effective, I think.
I have decided to do an oriental theme gift set, as hubby found the most beautiful DCWV 12" by 12" card stack, called The Far East Stack, whilst we were in the USA in the summer.
These are the two thank you cards, to start off with. Same card, just changing the orientation.
On the Pagoda cartridge was the perfect branch of flowers, page 46, cut at 4.5". I have popped up the branch of flowers and put it slightly outside the main layer.
For both cards I used my scoreboard and scored two lines in a border 1/8" apart. I think it frames that centre panel beautifully.
I was able to cut a piece of card stock for each card with a bird showing. I felt the card really didn't need any other embellishment.
Here is the inside of the card - both are the same.
I will do another four cards and then of course it wouldn't be a gift set without a box :-)
